Brief Introduction
Research Center for Prevention and Control of Biological Invasions, is devoted to monitor and control of invasive agricultural, forestry pest and harmful glass; utilization of insect resources and its metabolites; integrated control of agricultural and forestry pest and development and utilization of biological control technology.

Research Progress
In recent 20 years, the research center has undertaken more than 30 scientific research projects, including 3 international cooperation project (projects from France and Thailand, project of Darwin Foundation), projects supported by the national natural projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province, and other projects supported by local government.
The research center undertook more than 10 scientific achievements, including 8 prizes awarded by national and provincial government; applied for more than 20 national invention patents, more than 10 of which were authorized; established 1 corporate standards; published more than 50 research papers including more than 15 papers in SCI source; participated in writing 4 monographs in Chinese and 1 monograph in English and trained 8 Master students.
